7.30 am .. some progress huh?

My sister woke me up at 7.30 am today for an early morning nasi lemak treat. I was out in my Superman tee and my super short soccer black shorts, with nothing underneath. Airy. As u've guessed it, i didn't take the courtesy to brush my teeth, wash my face and lord knows my body stank from the previous sleeping session. My eyes were half opened as i requested for a piece of drumsticks. Patrons of the restaurant were busy satiating their empty stomachs and alerting dormant minds with kopi o's and cigarettes. I busied myself to 7-11 next door for a pack of 14's and a litre of apple juice. An apple a day keeps a doctor away it seems. I'm still coughing and heck, i just went to see a young GP the day before.

Drove back to home. Passed by a school, my secondary school. It was the Annual Sport's Day; Acara Sukan Tahunan SMK Seaport (i will never refer to my school as Sri Permata, don't we all have too many Sri's here?). Kids were lining up and getting prepared for the marching procession. I did that. Didn't get to lead, but i was heavily involved tho'. The first event would be the 100m sprint. Sigh. Sprinting. I do reminisce once in awhile. Believe it or not, i was the fastest 14 year old among my batch. 100m, 200m, 4x100m relays ... i was indeed killing everyone. But hey, guess what, fate decided to pull a funny string on me at the final race and so, i fell. I fell during the 100m final. I was in 2nd place. I was injured, i couldn't continue for the 200m. But i went back for the 4 by 100 as the starter. And we got a gold. Then i heavily took up smoking, and i was only involved in 4 by 100 and tug o war from then on. Funny.

So kids, don't smoke. U'll end up like me. U will look older than others, u'll develop pimples which would irrate you to scratch and leave a deep scar or two, u will have the stamina of a 65 year old and yes, smoking will never make you look cool. At the end of the day, u'll be like me, sipping Apple Juice 7.30 in the morning, with your lungs trying to cough out air in a disgusting and ghastly manner.
